An arcade classic with some additions

Fans of the iconic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise are in for a treat as the beloved arcade classic returns with a vengeance in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants. Originally released in 2017, this updated version of the premium action game brings forth an array of exciting new features and content that will delight both seasoned veterans and newcomers alike.

Drawing inspiration from the timeless charm of the cult favorite Turtles in Time, Wrath of the Mutants offers players the chance to re-experience the thrill of battling the Foot Clan and thwarting the nefarious schemes of the villainous Shredder.

Go on adventures with the Turtles again

One of the most notable changes to this overhauled version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants comes in the form of three additional stages and six new boss battles, never-before-seen in the 2017 release. That said, players should prepare to traverse new terrain and face off against formidable enemies as they dive deeper into the heart of the Turtles’ adventure.

Of course, players can once again assume the roles of Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, or Raphael, each with their unique fighting styles and personalities. Whether you prefer the swift strikes of Leo, the wild antics of Mikey, the technical prowess of Donnie, or the sheer brute force of Raph, there’s a Turtle to suit every playstyle. With six stages, including the ominous Dimension X and the nostalgic Coney Island, the action never lets up.

There are 13 boss battles to expect, having you battle waves of Foot Clan ninjas and face off against larger-than-life adversaries. To help with that, the Turtles can unleash their Turtle Power, a special super attack distinct to each Turtle. You can even summon mutant support by picking up collectibles. Plus, you can play via the four-player local co-op to share the fun with friends. There’s no online co-op mode, though.

A must-try for both long-time fans and newbies alike

Overall, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants is a love letter to fans of the franchise, offering a nostalgic trip down memory lane while introducing exciting new content to keep the experience fresh and engaging. Whether you’re a die-hard fan or a casual gamer looking for some retro-inspired fun, this updated arcade classic is sure to satisfy your cravings for Turtle-powered action.
